We are reminded daily of the sacrifices of our brave military and especially our wounded warriors. Nothing riles up America more than the evidence that shows we are failing our wounded warriors and that our "long war" against terror is causing severe hardships on our active-duty personnel, Reserves and National Guard.
The services themselves, even before the Walter Reed Medical Center story, had begun support services to help our wounded warriors, our returning veterans and their families. Again the military services and their respective leaders have made Herculean efforts to take care of their own.
