ChristiaNet.com (http://www.christianet.com), the world's largest Christian portal with twelve million monthly page loads, asked readers to participate in a new poll by answering the question, "Should Christians use credit counseling services?" The results of this poll show that the majority of readers agree that Christian counseling services might help Believers learn to manage their finances productively. One participant stated, "To avoid the bondage of credit reliance it is wise to gain a better understanding of the truth about living with credit." (http://www.christianet.com/creditcounseling/)
Out of 245 participants polled, 172 responded "yes" to the survey question. Some participants felt that it is good to seek out credit counseling services to gain knowledge and learn how to live on a budget. Debt management must be addressed when finances are out of control and monthly payments to creditors exceed monthly income.
