Credit cards accepted at more DJ offices: County commissioners also make progress


Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- -- Credit card payments will be allowed at more district justice offices now as the service expands to four more locations.

The offices of judges Harold Kessler in Springettsbury Township, Linda Williams in York, Dwayne Dubs in Spring Garden Township, and Nancy Edie in Brogue, join District Justice Richard Martin's office in offering the service.

According to Martin's office, the payment method for fines has increased in popularity since it was first accepted last December. The office saw a nearly $2,000 jump in credit card use between January and February.
