A Troy-based e-commerce solutions provider is green-lighted for $21.5 million in state tax credits that clear the way for a $25 million expansion.
North American Bancard Inc. plans to hire as many as 1,500 workers over the life of a 12-year employment tax credit approved Tuesday by the Michigan Economic Growth Authority.
The company said it has executed a purchase agreement on an existing 105,000-square-foot building in Troy and said it hopes to close in the coming weeks. It is presently operating out of a 20,000-square-foot facility that it owns at 969 Chicago Road, but has run out of space, said company President Marc Gardner.
